The question we answer every day! Why is one whirlpool better than another? Everyone wants the pleasure a whirlpool provides; each person visiting our showroom wants the best tub at the lowest price. Few customers are aware of problems than can arise and affect their bathroom investment and enjoyment when an inferior tub is selected. Replacing an inferior tub is a serious investment, incredible inconvenience, and a major hassle. The cost of a tub should not be the major reason for a purchase! BUT customers often tell us our pricing is less then the competition! Our tubs are better because: Motors:The volume of water through the jets is most important, not horse power. Our motors are tested under operating conditions, many other manufacturers "bench test" units for higher horse power ratings. We feature "dry run." The motor will not burn out if someone forgets to put water in the tub. Shell: Colorfast, non porous acrylic is best- especially when it is thick like our 5/32 - 1/4"! You don't want tub flex around the drain. No Fiberglas, ABS or thinner shells here. They just don't hold up over the years. Piping: Rigid 1" dia. sch. 40 or flexible hose that is very closely ribbed [as opposed to flexible that is larger ribbed] produces the "smooth" interior surface that is superior. Both drain almost completely after use, vastly retarding bacterial growth / "black stuff" people complain about. Jets: Should be fully adjustable and replaceable from the inside and allow the correct mixture of water/air. Trim parts are made of metal to avoid chip and peel. And - parts are never discontinued..always available. Great idea! Important! |
